“Every staff member I met was very friendly and accommodating. I've stayed at 400-500 hotels and this may have been the cleanest place I've ever stayed. I enjoyed walking around the pond in the back, the hot tub was nice and clean, and the owner was available by cell at all hours of the night. The full kitchen downstairs with 2 refrigerators was very helpful and everyone who stayed there when I was there helped keep it looking nice. Next time we come we'll probably book two rooms and try out their grill.”

When the gentleman (owner) came to our table to take our order, the first thing he said was thank you for coming to see us and same appreciation was told us again when we paid before leaving. “Great restaurant for the area. We were glad we stopped there to eat while staying in town for a couple days. Everything was very good. Only thing I would say is the rice could have been tastier and the shredded chicken in my chimichanga could have had more flavor. The prices were fantastic. “We went to the Fish Nest for the Seafood Buffet, driving 24 miles one way, because of the rave reviews we read.... Sad to say, it didn't live up to the reviews and wasn't worth the drive. Not to say it was bad, because it wasn't! It was "OK," definitely a 3 star restaurant, but not more than that and nothing special. Here's the Good: The Fried Catfish was Very Good. The Hush Puppies were different from the. traditional ones & were quite good The Frog Legs were also good Really good Cole Slaw Outstanding Cobbler Buffet kept well stocked, fresh and hot Here's the Not So Good: Fried clams very rubbery Stuffed Crab dry with mediocre stuffing. (tasted kind of like Stove top) Twice- baked potatoes were odd and not that good... Potato skins with scalloped. potatoes dropped in Corn bread muffins very dry Everything else was just OK....not bad, but not great, pretty average. Prices were very reasonable and the staff was very welcoming and friendly. So..... An OK, pretty decent place, but not worth going out of your way for.”

“This is a DRY county as of May 25, 2022. So don't expect any beer and margaritas in this wonderful Restaurant. We pork chop was fantastic and the tortilla chips were thin and crispy to perfection. Prices are very very reasonable. Less than $13 for beef fajitas or porkchops. It is very close to the diamond state park.”

“This place has good food, is clean and the staff is pretty nice. We ordered the watts electric burger and onion rings which was great. We also ordered the Philly cheese steak and the kids macaroni and cheese. The fried pickles were delicious! Overall the food was really good and tasty. We also ordered a strawberry and vanilla shake which is made with their own ice cream. They both tasted really good too. They have a huge menu, so lots of options to choose from!”

“What a great little surprise when we got to town. Family was hungry and love Mexican so she went online to see where the closest one was, we thought 30minutes away. Actually it was just 3 minutes from the RV campsite we where at. The service was super fast and the servers super friendly. The kids ate every bite and then when we got home granddaughter ate the rest of grandma's left overs. 😆 🤣 We will be back when we are in the area!!”

“We just happened to see this amazing little smokehouse on maps. Our family (19 of us) had just finished at the Crater of the Diamonds and wanted some authentic smoked meats. We came with no notice and they were fantastic. Service was fast and so polite. The food was just what we were looking for. Something for the kids and all of us adults. Not a word from the kids as they finished their entire meals (not always normal). Prices were very reasonable. The owners were very inviting and shared stories of how they came to be! My entire family would recommend you stop in and see them or if you are in a hurry use the drive through. Wish there were 10 STARS!!!”

“I love Swaha and Lake Greeson. We have come here multiple times over the last 12 years. The family that manages the place are amazing, sweet, and just the kind of folks you wish you got to be around more often. They have constantly been upgrading and adding more cabins. The boat we rented this last trip seemed brand new and awesome! The lake itself is a gem. 160ft deep, crystal clear, and gorgeous. My family loved going to the Little Missouri River behind the dam and swimming as well. This is one of those places that every time I visit I wish I could live there.”
