Jerry’s Fish Camp is an unexpected find in the little town of Mena, Arkansas. We were passing through on our way to Shady Lake Campground wishing for something other than the typical fast food offered by most towns. We turned off Hwy 71 where the train depot is located and saw Jerry’s on the left.
What we found was a delightful restaurant with reasonably priced lunch selections. Service was amazing! I found myself wondering where the owner found such great employees. They were cheerful, professional, and efficient. Lunch was great and we resolved to make sure our return trip was scheduled to sample their evening dinner offerings. On our return trip, we found the same great service and great food. Next time we’re at Queen Wilhelmina State Park, a couple of side-trips to Jerry’s Fish Camp in downtown Mena will be part of our plans.
Note: I rarely take a photo of a restroom but this one was so clean I couldn't resist sharing!
Absolutely the best in Mena! Family owned with an amazing atmosphere. So glad we stopped. Very personable and the food was straight out of grandmas kitchen! Keep up the great work! Can’t wait to visit again!
I'm happy to have a seafood type restaurant in our little town. The frog wing was perfect!
I absolutely love this little restaurant! The food was great! The owner is a really nice guy. The staff was also incredibly friendly and helpful. Sunshine waited on us and was great! I would highly recommend! As for the poor reviews below, I expect that they were true. The owner admitted that it’s been a learning process and they’ve had to work out some kinks. But I think they are doing great now any hitting their stride!
Best fish ever. All home made food. Definitely going back.
