We had a party of 5 and set in the back seating section, away from the bar. We were all very pleased with our food, and our waitress was kind and informative.

We were a bit surprised how long it took to get our appetizers and beers. We ordered wine, and apparently they couldn’t find their wine opener. As well as beers, which we also had to wait for 10mins to receive? 3pm on a Saturday with the restaurant being half full, we did not complain but noticed between drinks and appetizers, they were running slow.

After we got our food, no complaints, everything was fresh and well prepared. I would def recommend the bacon jam burger with a side of jalepenños.

If you’re looking to relax, sit on the opposite side of the divider away from the bar. If you’d like a louder or more social atmosphere, grab a high top near the bar. Plus it seems that you get better service up there as well.

We plan to return during warmer weather and try out their open air patio area, which appears to offer bar service as well.

We plan to return and update this review if our experience changes.

This place was billed as an upscale place we imagined to be more like Billy’s or Frankie’s. It was much more casual atmosphere which is a good thing. The service was a tad slow but they were full and backed up in the kitchen. We started with chicken fingers and fried banana peppers. The chicken was fresh and hand breaded. The fried banana peppers came with horseradish sauce that gave you quite a surprise when you bit into one since we ordered ranch instead, and instead of traditional twangy peppers, they used spicy banana peppers. The idea sounded better than the execution on that dish. The southwest burger came with pepper jack, chipotle mayo, and jalapeños. After putting the jalapeños to the side, I was disappointed the burger had little flavor left and nowhere near southwesternThe filet was tender and cooked well. It was rested enough that it had dried out just a bit, but had good flavor. The surprise star was the fish and chips. 3 giant fish sticks beer battered and fried to perfection. Juicy, crispy, tender, and flavorful made them the favorite dish of the night.

Fantastic new addition to the Roanoke area! The food was amazing, everything had a homemade unique flavor and beautifully plated. They have unique menu items such as Fried banana peppers and some great classics like steak and potatoes.

Service was fantastic, and the seasonal drinks were delicious!

I've visited this new restaurant several times already, and I am very impressed. The menu is probably a little small compared to what many are used to these days, but every item I have ordered has been excellent. Vinton is an area that is starved for a good restaurant, so this place stays very busy at prime times. The staff seems to do a wonderful job keeping up though, especially the bar staff. They stay friendly and personable, even in the busiest of times. We personally prefer the bar side, even for dinner. The one odd thing from a stylistic imo is how the dining area is separated from the bar. There is a wall between the two, but with large picture windows, it gives it a fishbowl feel. One side always being watched by the other, but with no real communication between the two. All in all just a wonderful addition to the budding Vinton downtown area. The food and staff are great, and an excellent bar area to unwind. At the time of this review, the weather is becoming too cool for outside socializing, but they also have a nice area outside adjoining the bar with fire pits in the sitting area.

We've had dinner here on 3 separate occasions now. Always great food, service, and atmosphere. We were able to attend the Grand Opening last night. It's awesome to have a place to unwind with friends, catch a game or just enjoy the vibe without having to worry about walking back to my car. So glad Vinton has a place like this!!
