El Porton Méxican Restaurant

This place has been serving great food and service for 20 plus years!! Lunch with my daughter was a fun experience the other day. The food was delicious as usual, I do wish they would get some more interesting menu items, however the service was extraordinarily fun and festive. A server took our order and brought chips and salsa with drinks but the man course was delivered by the cutest El Porton robot!!! He hovered over our table that he had been programmed for delivery and our server took our food from his tray. Clever!!! Must go and see this innovative addition to a long time authentic Mexican restaurant.

Very nice Sunday afternoon lunch at El Porton. It’s been several years since I’ve been here so there were some new wrinkles. The menu has changed a little bit and I kind of got the vibe of new ownership, but I don’t know this for sure. Anyway the Sky, Turf, and Surf dish was great. My wife had chipotle chicken (I tried a bite) which was also very good. They have rolling robots that bring the food to the table. They play music as they approach and roll right up to the table with ease. No hesitation, no bumping into anything. They roll around the restaurant as easily as a person can walk. The waiter isn't far behind to actually serve the plates of food. I’m going to have to take my grands now. They’re going to love the robots 😃

This is 1 of our favorite spots to eat at. I didn't realize that they now have robots that bring your food out and the server hands it to you. I had a little snippet of the robot. I didn't have my phone prepared when it rolled our food over. We both got burritos. One chicken, one steak. Next time I'm ordering without the lettuce, they sprinkle it across the top of the burritos. I also ordered a raspberry margarita, it was delicious. Thanks for the great food, drinks, service, and atmosphere.

Great food. My wife had chicken fajitas which were very tender. Chips taste homemade, we’re crisp and salsa sweet. I had fish and shrimp burritos… it was delicious. Margarita was good and wife’s sangria also good but seemed to be low on alcohol. We definitely recommend.

I give this restaurant 4 stars for service! The gentleman that greeted me at the door was very friendly, he seated me instantly and promptly took my order. I had three meat burritos, they weren’t ground meat. The meat had no taste and was very chewy. So no stars for food. The salsa is very very good.
