Flying Fish

One of the coolest restaurants I’ve been to in a while. Food was great and made me miss home / living in the south!

Sat down for lunch. Had the grilled grouper plate, grilled chicken salad, seafood gumbo, and fried okra.
The grouper was cooked good but it needed more seasoning. The grilled chicken was cooked to order over a fresh bed of salad. The chicken was well seasoned and delicious. The seafood gumbo was scrumptious and just a little heat. And the fried okra was cooked to order and done perfect.
The blues music and airy atmosphere was enjoyable.
You order at the counter and pick it up when ready. Very casual dining. A little pricy but the food was good.

Visited here while working in Little Rock. Great atmosphere, no need to dress up. The service was quickly and friendly
I had the fried grouper and oysters. The group was cooked to profection. The serving size was noce. Plenty of fries came with it. My coworker had the grill snapper, and he really enjoyed it

We arrived here on a very cold day as it is located right near the hotel and wanted to eat something fast.

Don't get me wrong, the lady cleaning around the massive place was simply lovely and detailed to me in Spanish that you have to order at the counter at the back of the place where you also pay and then sit at your table until they send a message to the pager they give to you to come back to the counter and take your food.

They have huge varieties of food very low priced, no wonder the place had lots of people sitting in all the 4 rooms that form this restaurant.

The lower marks is due to the male staff behind the counter who thought they can talk in Spanish about me and my partner probably assuming that no one can understand Spanish, out of all the people waiting in the queue?

The food is good but nothing special, just lots of fry up and great soup, easy stuff for a low budget or if you are in hurry and need some vitamins.
