Wonderful place with a very small town feel. Delicious home made food with southern classics like chicken fried steak, casseroles of all kinds, fried chicken, banana pudding, and so on. Plate lunch with sides is the way I go. Gives me the "southern grandma who thinks you should eat more" feeling. Staff are super friendly and always ask how you want things made. They will even make you a dessert tray for family events (again banana pudding being mentioned). Go see them, find a seat, and enjoy a delicious home made meal.
Listening to the conversations this morning during early breakfast, one can tell it’s a very community-familiar little place, and that only adds to the comfortable atmosphere created by the friendly staff, quaint decorations, and delicious food. Rosie’s has easily become a new favorite without a doubt from my very first visit. Katie was a phenomenal server, and we will definitely be coming back again!
Oh my! The best three egg omelette I've had in a longgg time. The red skin potatoes are amazing too. The atmosphere is very family/tight knit/chill. I'll be visiting again to try more breakfast and lunch items.
Don't let the outside look fool you! We were traveling and very hungry. Best reviews we had seen so decided to give Rosie's a try. Paused when we saw the outside but we have usually had great luck with the "less than expected outside look" of eateries. Rosie's is no exception to that streak! Looks a tad worn, but the food and service are some of the best I've seen! Exceptionally good sweet tea, absolutely fantastic food! Simple, down home, wholesome and cooked with love! These Ladies want to be there feeding their friends, regulars and strangers! Very pleasant, clean, and let me repeat, exceptionally good food!
Had lunch today at one of the BEST home cooked meal places I’ve ever eaten. Rosie’s Pot & Kettle Café may not be easy to find but don’t give up, use your GPS and experience true Southern greatness. My daughter and I each got different entrees and veggies so we could share and check out all the goodies today. Pot roast with potatoes, onions, and carrots melted in your mouth. The fried chicken was freshly prepared and perfectly crispy. Turnip greens and turnips were delicious. Boiled squash, pinto beans, and cucumber salad were excellent!! All perfectly seasoned and in generous amounts. Packed and run by a bunch of riveting Rosies, you cannot go wrong at this place. BTW don’t forget to try a homemade dessert. The Bourbon Chocolate Pie (sold out fast) was a rich brownie pie with tons of whole pecans loaded throughout on a fantastic pie crust. Nice to see women and businesses doing good in Little Rock.
