The Fold: Botanas & Bar

We will be back! I normally hate green tomatillo-based salsa, but I think it might have even been better than the red salsa!

Staff were relaxed, helpful, and fast. We had several people help us instead just a single waiter, and that kept our water glasses full and our chips topped off.

We had nothing that wasn't fantastic. My steak burrito was as good as the staff promised it would be. My wife's beef tenderloin tamales were just as good. One kiddo tried bison for the first time and really liked its spiciness. My youngest ordered the chicken quesadilla, and it's smoked chicken made that the best quesadilla I've probably ever tasted.

Prices are pretty high. A glass of In-House lemonade is $5. With chips and queso as an appetizer, our four meals, and a shared order of churros, the four of us paid about $110, including me much-deserved 20% tip.

Serafin was the best!! He made great food recommendations, the street corn dip and the blood orange margaritas!! They were awesome!! The food was very fresh and delicious!!

My absolute favorite mexican restaurant in Little Rock. Ask for Josh as your server. He’s the best. A few of my favorite items: achiote chicken taco, queso, red salsa, steak burrito, bison burrito or quesadilla.. really you can’t go wrong with anything here.

The habanero queso was so creamy and not packed with spice but packed with the flavor of the habanero with a little heat.

The steak burrito was grilled and topped with the traditional queso. Steak so tender and the right mix of cilantro, peppers and onions made this a burrito to remember.

The atmosphere here was just right too. Music was at the right level, good temperature inside and the staff was all very friendly.

Just walking up to the door was an experience. They were smoking some of the pork and it was immediately welcoming.
