A Sherwood staple, this place serves consistently delicious food no matter what you order! Their BBQ sauce is one that any Sherwood native could pick out of a lineup if necessary 😁 The only issues my family and I have ever had were very slow service when dining in. Yes, they are in fact short staffed just like everybody else, but unfortunately this was an issue well before 2020. If you dine in, prepare to wait AND tip generously because the ladies working that small space are going just as fast as they can with the resources they've been given. If you ask for it, you'll get it! If you're wanting to give them a try but don't want to risk a wait, they have a drive thru for call ahead orders & you can pick up at the cashier counter as well. The quality of food is just as good picking up!

I'm not sure how it is we've never visited such a wonderful restaurant before now. The food was cooked up Southern delicious, including the huge portions of fried chicken gizzards, great northern beans, spinach and cornbread. Superb barbecue and salads too, provided with perfect service from the friendly wait staff. Prices were almost ridiculously cheap, a very pleasant bonus during an already five-star visit. You definitely should visit soon.

The food was good, the place was clean. Staffing doesn't seem to be the best though. There was only one member of staff waiting on the whole restaurants food orders. Who took several tables orders, who were seated well after us, before she even acknowledged our table. From sitting down to the food bring brought out was over 1.5 hours, which is why I rated four stars overall. The grilled chicken salad was delicious but im not sure it was 1.5 hours delicious.

This is one of my favorite places to eat. I brought 3 of my closest friends here for the first time and to say that they were pleasantly surprised is an understatement.

Ordered various plates. The brisket was bad. It was dry and rubbery. The sausage, potato salad and ribs were good. The chicken fried steak was ok, tasted like it was frozen. Unfortunately on this day, the kitchen was short handed and the food took a long time to come out. The staff was very apologetic. The floors need cleaning.
