Salem Dairy Bar

Nostalgia of older times when dairy bars were abundant and service was personal. You may have to wait for your order, but they have places to while you wait and on a beautiful day, its so nice you may just decide to stay there while you enjoy your food and milkshake.

I saw this little hole-in-the-wall spot on the map and had to check it out. I just had a cheeseburger and fries. The fries were ok but definitely needed either salt or ketchup. The burger was tasty but needed a more seasoned patty. The service is fine and they call out your name and car type when the food's ready. I'm just not sure if I'd return cuz it's quite pricey for what you get. If I'm in the area again I may stop by and try a double cheeseburger because I think you need that extra patty and cheese to bring out some flavor.

Absolutely amazing cheeseburgers and cajun fries definitely worth taking the trip over to their dairy bar if your in the mood for a hamburger of any sort! Or if you have a sweet tooth give their banana split (make sure you have a partner to split it with) that's huge and very tasty! Friendly staff! Would definitely go here over any other burger joint in the city! Gives you that homemade vibe and the Cajun fries are the 💣! 🔥

Whenever I'm in town there is nowhere else I go for a good burger other than Salem Dairy Bar. Their burgers are soo juicy and the fries are hot and crispy because everything is made to cooked when ordered. I drive 3 hours just to stop by and get some of their great food. Man I'm getting hungry just talking about them. If you want an old fashion REAL burger this is the place!!

Great little unassuming place, burgers and fries were excellent. This is the first time I've had fries that don't leave my fingers greasy. The young lady at the front was friendly and courteous.
