Blackbeard’s Fish and Chips

Great place for fish and chips! We enjoyed it!

Get it to go. No place to eat on site. Cute painted rocks out front in the rock garden.

They are new so there is a learning curve. The fish and chicken were okay, the tartar sauce was good, no sauce for chicken and they were out of malt vinegar. Some of the shrimp were burned. The fries were good, the chips were okay (although I was expecting British style fish and chips). The hush puppies were good but were missing from our shrimp meal as well as the cocktail sauce I asked for. Coleslaw was good. Potato salad was excellent. The cups they use impart a wax taste to the drinks. We will try again when they are more established.

The fish was absolutely flawless. The texture was great, and the taste was some of the best fish I've ever had! The hush puppies were good too.

The only reason I gave four stars instead of five is that the fries and especially the chips were undercooked. The chips were completely floppy like deli meat slices.

But like I said, the fish was delicious, and I will definitely be back! Hopefully I can update this to a 5-star review!
