“All Casey's General Stores are top-notch in the ever-expanding, highly competitive convenience store/gas station industry. Their fueling stations are always clean and supplies like courtesy paper towels are well-stocked. Trash receptacles are always less than half full and this shows that they empty them frequently. The window cleaner squeegee stations are always clean and don't smell like a sewer, the sewer-like smell being bug sludge. In the squeegee stations I've encountered at other gas stations, the window cleaner fluid is VERY rarely being drained, the bin being cleaned, and then refilled with fresh window cleaner. It's such a simple thing to provide, but so many gas stations just don't care about it. Casey's obviously cares greatly. I speak so much about the window squeegee stations because it seems EVERY other gas station I go to when I'm not near a Casey's has horrible smelling window cleaner. One time I went to a dumpy gas station in Florida because I was in dire need of fuel and was in a rural area. I also wanted to squeegee my windows. So as the pump is running, I grab the handle of the squeegee and pull it out of the squeegee bin, the bin falls off the mount it was on and the most VILE, black, thick, NASTY, bug filled liquid goes all over the concrete floor. It was extremely slippery and I slipped and fell as I reflexively stepped sideways to avoid the deluge of bug sludge. It got all over my hands, pants, shoes, and sleeve of my shirt. I literally gagged and vomited because of how bad the smell of the sludge was. So this bad experience really affected me, but Casey's is so much better in regard to this courtesy provision. Casey's has excellent sausage pizza and their other baked to order pizza and other prepared foods are fresh and very tasty. The soda fountain stations are clean, well maintained, and cups/supplies are well stocked. So many convenience stores have soda fountain stations that are so disgusting that I won't get any drinks from them. All of the sticky spilled soda just puts me off any of the drinks. But Casey's keeps it inviting. All employees inside Casey's stores are always very friendly, polite, and make me feel like a valued customer. Seriously. One of the main reasons is because they greet me the moment I walk in the door, unlike a lot of other convenience stores where the cashier is sitting in a chair behind the counter, looking at their smartphone, and ignoring most all the customers even when I'm standing there paying for my purchases. Casey's employees are fast, efficient, make frequent eye contact and smile genuinely, and assist in any way they can. Unusual services like GreenDot Visa Debit Card reloading is a big plus at Casey's. They even offer PayPal account reloading and that's VERY unusual. So Casey's has ALL of those unusual financial services. Casey's coffee station looks very impressive. I don't drink coffee and never have, but I do notice coffee stations in stores. Casey's has what looks to be a very clean and well stocked coffee station. If I drank coffee, I would much rather go to Casey's for it than a certain coffee shop that a cup of coffee is six bucks now. And one of my favorite features of Casey's is their free air for leaky tires. Every other place charges from 75¢ up to $1.50 for air. I understand the cost of the compressor, the hose and input valve, and maintenance and repairs of such equipment. But why can Casey's offer the air service for free and the other places charge for it? It proves that Casey's cares about customers. You see, if you've got a leaky tire, you probably don't have the money to replace the tire or you would have already replaced it before needing repeated use of air compressor service at Casey's. In fact, you probably don't even have the money to get it patched at a tire shop, the price of a tire patch job approaching $50.00 these days. So Casey's cares that you, the customer, doesn't have the resources for new tires and patching services, so they provide free air. That makes me admire the people of Casey's.”

“Since moving to Arkansas 4 years ago I have been on a disappointing quest to find really good bbq. That quest ended yesterday when we gave G's a try. When this man tells you his meats don't need sauce, trust him. He's right!!! It may not look like much but when you pull up, but the aroma of smoked meat will fill your car, and that carries over into his food perfectly. We had brisket and pulled pork and both were insanely tasty. For those who like it wet his sauce is pretty good as well but don't tell him you used it. He may be offended, lol. Actually I doubt it, the owner is a really nice guy with a great personality and a passion for his food. Give it a try, even if you have to make a special trip to Elkins you won't regret it.”
