Habanas Cuban Cuisine

Very positively surprised by the food but downvote for service and cleanliness.

The food is good, especially the black beans. The flavors are authentic (I grew up on this food). I've been there twice on Friday night and the live Latin music is great.

Always a great choice. Love the tapas, entrees and the mojitos! Pineapple and mango are my favorites.

Seating is critical depending on why you are there. They have amazing live music, but if you plan to talk to people at your table request a seat in back. You won't be able to hear yourself think in a table up front.
If you are there to drink, eat, and dance hit a table in the middle or upfront.

The veggie empanadas are downright Ah-Mazing! The mojitos are good, but the level of crushed ice makes them difficult to drink comfortably. By the time the ice melts the drink is watered down. Too bad really, I probably would have had at least two or three otherwise. Instead it took me the whole meal to even get through one. This could be a good thing, too, I suppose.

Overall, it was a good experience, the waitress was friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. Definitely worth a night out.
