My go to place for amazing breakfast when in Alameda. It's got such a nice vibe and ambiance to the place. My service has been pretty good for the most part, even when crowded on a weekend morning. If it's your first time here, you must try the fresh squeeze orange juice!
Love this place so so much. They have the best waffles, even the syrup tastes better. You have to give this place a try. They even open for dinner. The coffee is great, they have good combo plates and really wonderful wait staff. We have never really had to wait for a spot to sit even when it’s crowded. Get in, eat and go. Love it
Good food and basic fare served from the lunch and dinner menus. But, for the night shift worker (and other night owls) being able to select from a large breakfast menu at 8:00pm and 7 nights a week is what keeps me coming back.
Service is always quick and amicable, from order to serving to final check.
We adored this old diner that hops with activity. The staff is fantastic - fast and efficient, a well-oiled professional diner machine.
The menu is large - everyone will find something they want for every meal. The specialty is breakfast, obviously waffles are heavy on the menu and live up to the diner hype. You will pay a little extra for fresh fruit - but I think it's a nice option. They list the fruits available that day on a sign at the front door.
Ole's has great sweet breakfasts - I loved the French Toast especially and there were a lot of orders of it going out. But they also have plenty of savoury food - breakfast meats, eggs.
If you are a diner fan, Ole's is definitely worth a stop! If you're not into diners, you will still find a consistent meal.
Family owned, breakfast counter/diner segment. Walk into a cozy and bustling diner. 50's music playing and 80's sports memorabilia on the walls. Great ingredients used in their standard breakfast menu. The hickory smoked bacon flavor comes through in the ultimate omelette. Hash browns were properly crispy on request. Great service. Prices par. Portions a little more than par. No reservations. Typically a line, however they turn over tables very quickly.
