Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

One great place to get real gelato, frozen custards, ice cream sandwich and cakes, sundaes, and many more delightful treats. There are a variety of flavours to choose, I like their famous mango and chocolate, once is not enough!
It is ideally located infront of the only playground at South Shore Shopping Center, the Adventure Court. Parking spots are free and ample. In summer time, there’s a long queue but it’s always worth the queue when you get something delightful to eat.
My granddaughter never misses to get a scoop or two everytime I take her to the playground Adventure Court. Staffs are friendly. There are some tables and chairs when you want to sit inside but it’s too narrow place when it gets busy. I wouldn’t mind queing up here to get my favourite ice cream!

Custard topped slush is so good. Sweedish fish gelato, yum. Near the playground area in the middle of SSC.

Great flavors! I'll have to go back to try more. I got the chocolate covered banana and it was delicious. Wasn't overly sweet like other places so it really hit the spot.

Best milkshake I have tried. I highly recommend this place. It offers a variety of ice creams, from sugar free to lactose free options. Awesome spot next to the small kid are.

A small establishment at Alameda’s South Shore Center you could miss it.

Opened at around Father’s Day it’s a well known ice cream shop on the east coast known for Frozen Custard style ice cream; chocolate and vanilla soft serve and various scoopable flavors and Italian Ices. It’s my first experience with the soft serve twist and it was great. I’m sure many transplants from the east will flock here to get their fix. I’ll definitely make a return trip to try the ices.
