    Ambiance was nice amd cozy. The spaghetti was good but the ribeye steak was too fatty and had a lot of ligaments. The french onion soup was very good.

    The Bateau Ivre is as close to an old European coffee house as you’ll find in the Bay Area. It’s one-of-a-kind and a lovely place to read a good book over excellent coffee.

    This place is a local gem! It's built out in a 100 year old house with many original features preserved, and the food reflects the attention to detail French cuisine is famous for.

    I always take out of town guests here for breakfast.
