Edit: I have been a long-time (relatively, weekly for 3-4 months) customer, and while I still believe that this place has the best ingredients of any place in Berkeley, I have been forced to take away a star because of it's wild inconsistency. Over the last two months, the size, amount of ingredients, and price has varied insanely, and I never know if I'm going to get the skimpiest possible bowl or a generous portion size for the price. I love this place, and I would gladly enjoy paying a consistent price, for a consistent amount of food - however right now, it's such a mixed bag that I can never know if I'll leave hungry, or with too much to eat, and the price at the register is always something different.

Probably the best California style poke in Berkeley. I love the fish and the selection of toppings, while the sauces cover a wide range of tastes. Only reason this isn't a 5-star review is that the place is a bit pricey for what you get compared to the other area poke places, particularly since they've recently downsized the portions. But if you're willing to pay just touch more, I absolutely love what this place has to offer.

I always consistently have great poke bowls here. They are only slightly expensive, but it's worth it because they give great portions and are definitely not stingy on the fish. The sauces taste great too. Also, the people who work there, mostly students it seems, are always friendly and polite. Way to represent our school well!! Go Bears!

I'll start with the positives beside the food: the lady that served us was friendly and made great suggestions and the place was clean and tidy with a cozy feel. The food was pretty generous and satisfying. The vast choice of fish (tofu available for vegans) is great and if you get the large bowl you get to chose 4 of the choices. The thing i liked most is the fact that the food is healthy: it's seafood and veggies with the ability to switch sushi rice to zucchini noodles (pretty good!). All veggies tasted fresh and the addition of mango was a good sweet and sour touch (thanks to the lady serving us that suggested we get it). Additionally, you have no limit on the amount of veggies you get. The bowl also comes with the choice of two (not sure if it's only 2 but i got 2) sides (avocado is extra 1.5$) and several dry toppings. Only downside i would say is thr prices but that is even debatable. For 14.57$ for a large bowl, it's comparatively cheaper than sushi and many other japanese style eats. It's healthy, filling, and unique so the price is quite worth it.

Generous portions and fresh fish. They do a decent poke and sometimes, they have spam musubi if you're still hungry. The value is there, and the best thing they have is the spicy crab salad. Unfortunately, you only get one scoop for a dollar. So it's not really worth it, but it's good. So mixed value overall, decent food and toppings, and okay service. Don't forget your stamp card!
