Wow, the taste and quality and size of food that we got for the price was so good and the staff was so super friendly! We just got an office nearby so we are excited to eat here again.
Try the lamb shank and the mo-mo at least once!
EDIT: I have been going here for a year now and I still love this place. It feels like a hidden gem. It's very surprising that this place is usually not very crowded but it's kind of nice to have a secret place to bring guests to. Some of my new favorites are the Gya-thuk with lamb, the gyuma (fried), and you have to get the beef Momo's with the mild sauce. Also love the butter tea and even more love the butter nigori.
The food is really delicious. The pork Momo is great and the hand-pulled noodle soup is awesome too.
Nomad is a comforting atmosphere and the Tibetan tea sets the pace for the experience. The menu continues to expand. My choices are Laping, potato momos, basil eggplant. Two friends dined with me just this week and they were extremely happy with their lamb and their fish dishes. We all enjoyed Tingma (steamed rolls) instead of rice. I love the interiors - their creative vision is excellent. Just a bit chilly so have a jacket ready.
Food is terrific. Fresh. authentic. Flavorful. It was very busy. Noise was off the charts. There should be laws against or at least warnings for shrill screaming unruly children hitting tables and bouncing while shrieking. Despite delishiousness, meal was
Wholesome, fresh tasting food. All of our dishes were perfectly prepared. The entrees were lightly seasoned, which allowed us to experiment with their flavorful chili sauces. The menu is a mix of familiar and more exotic dishes, and they have some nice vegetarian options. Environment is pleasant, and they have interesting art. Recommended!
