Never ceases to amaze me -- top notch food and drink stop. The only downside is a couple of the portions are on the small side (kinda to be expected at a place like this)

Very good and well composed ramen creations

I mean, it's a lot of money. But I'm pretty cheap, so don't use me as a reference for that. The food was ridiculously good though. I'm not saying eat here every week. But like... You know, before you die, you should come eat here.
Drinks were pretty good too but forgettable.

Really loved the creativity in this menu. Seasonal plates, surprising specials, great beverage program with sweet selections in regional wines and a good choice of sakes. A salad that made me think of the pomegranate tree outside my childhood window. And fantastic, attentive service. Impressive. Try the burdock pancakes with shrimp. Best meal in the Bay that I've had in a long time.

This is one of the best Japanese place in East Bay.

Great food. Balanced pallets. Good drinks. Very friendly and professional stuff.
