Claremont Club & Spa - A Fairmont Hotel

My wife and I recently visited Berkeley and went to the Claremont Hotel.

The hotel is sprawling on a huge property with a lot of amenities.

The staff is nice and the rooms are clean and we also use the spa which was very nice.

My only real complaint is that our room was tucked back in an old wing and was complicated to get to. If we had children and a lot of luggage it would’ve been a pain coming in and out multiple times a day.

Otherwise everything was good

This club reminds me of community, service and hospitality every day I visit.
And I try not to miss a day if I am able to.
My best place to rejuvenate before dinner at home.

It is an extraordinary architectural landmark with breathtaking views of the bay. That said, the appointments are not quite what one might expect and it was a bit disappointing to discover that one of the two restaurants closed and was replaced by a coffee shop. I would like to come back and give it the five-star rating that it deserves.

We came here for their holiday afternoon tea. Great service, we felt very special. Everything presented so beautifully! Food was food and tea was so good. Must say very very pricy for the amount of food and tea you get. Worth trying at least once.
