Korean Superette

Great new spot for Korean food on Solano! Curry Ramen, Palace Rice Cakes, and Kimbop were all fantastic! Only wish it wasn't rainy so we could sit in the lovely back garden. All the staff were so friendly and nice. My teenagers were able to stock up on their instant ramen noodles while we are visiting Grandma's house. Can't wait to visit again when we're back in Berkeley!

Delicious! Tender, deeply flavored bulgogi. I visited for the first time yesterday and learned that they just opened up 2 days ago. Happy to be eating in this beautiful space again. It’s a casual spot in the old Rivoli location. The layout is the same - the dining room in the back still overlooks the garden with those huge windows, but they have added in refrigerators and shelves for their Korean food market: meat, kimchee, noodles, etc are all available for sale. Highly recommend!

I went on their opening day and was immediately impressed by the thoughtfully designed interior and artwork (made by one of the staff). Their rice cakes and tofu stew were perfect and the service was very friendly. The restaurant also had various prepared foods, snacks, and pantry items available for purchase. Glad to have them on Solano!
