El Rancho Steak House

Food was good, not great. It was reasonably priced. The lemon cake was good. The service was good and the staff was friendly.

This was my first time eating here since I'm not a local and travel for the company that I work for. My first impression once inside was great since it was very nice and gave me a comfortable feeling. The staff were all polite and never left me feeling ignored. I ordered steak, mixed vegetables and a loaded baked potato. I didn't have to wait forever before the food arrived and my steak was cooked exactly the way I ordered it. I was also impressed by the amount of food that I was served. The "big chain" steakhouses leave me disappointed most of the time with tiny cuts of meat and over cooked steaks. I will eat here every time I'm back in the area!

Lovely homey place with a relaxed atmosphere and large portions of comfort food. Easy on the wallet and very unpretentious and relaxing - quiet and soothing. My husband and I go here for date nights so we can sit back and talk to each other. The service is good and the food arrives at the table quickly.

We arrived at 9:10 am aNd were immediately seated. Our order was taken. We had to wait 20 minutes for our breakfast despite the fact that there were only two other people in the restaurant. My husband's pancakes were good. My foot was cold and the bacon was too crispy. Not sure if we will be going back.

They have a lot of food choices. Large portions! Good prices for the large amount of food. Nice servers. Gave only 4 stars because the wait time to take our order took a long time. It was not crowded.
