Best value in sandwiches made to order in my opinion. Unlike Subway or other competitors, Mr. Pickles consistently uses quality ingredients, doesn't over do the sauce, and they include a cookie free as an option with a sandwich if you like. Their bread is the most flavorful and they seem to bake it daily in house as well. The Cali Tuna is actually balanced, unlike Subway's giant blob of flavorless mayo with fish bits added. The Big Easy is a favorite as well being a chicken salad that has real chunks of chicken, and again, not a blob of sauce with mystery meat. You can be out the door for $11 and you split it for a light lunch, or keep the full size if your Hangry. Extremely under rated sandwiches. Great work to John and team in Dublin!
I love Mr Pickles....I am sad to give only 3 stars, however the sandwiches were not good at all. Neither me or my boss finished ours. We both ordered the same sandwich and they looked like two different sandwiches. One of the employees was in the restroom for over 20 minutes and to be honest the employees looked to be on drugs or acting very weird. My stomachs hurt after only half a sandwich....I would recommend to avoid this particular location. I will use my regular Mr Pickles next time.
Good sandwich, been there a few times, will recommend sliced bread as the rolls I've had are not the softest. Good meats and veggies are crisp. Can be busy at times so phone in the order to save time! As an added bonus, you get a chocolate chip cookie ;-)
My favorite sandwich shop of all time!
I moved to TX from CA several years ago, and one thing I miss terribly and always try to have whenever I visit CA now is Mr. Pickles.
The Dutch Crunch bread is the best thing ever, and they put just the right amount of toppings on their sandwiches! I love the variety of menu items they have, and they're always friendly when we go in. I just wish they'd open some shops in TX!!
Not bad!
After trying the Dutch Crunch at Ikes, I was in love. In a craze to find more like it, I discovered Mr. Pickle. Gave it a shot and was pleasantly surprised. It was good, but leaves more to be desired. It was a clean sandwich, but my favorite sandwiches are the ones where after you take a bite and begin to chew, you can't speak. You don't want to open your mouth because of how delicious the food is. Mr. Pickles didn't give me that feeling.
