Friendly, Fast, Hot & clean. We went for the Fund Raiser = a free short stack. But, we plan to return because we enjoyed ourselves & it's open 24 hours on the weekends. I forgot to mention the Colorado Omlette and perfectly cooked Bacon. Coffee was hot fresh and unending. We're happy and coming back. Yummy!
This was the very first place I ate as a Texan, new to California.
It took a good 5 minutes to get noticed and make our drink orders and additional 10 minutes to make our food order.
The server was kind and interested in making conversation, though she seemed to be the only available server in the restaurant that Friday evening.
The plate I was served my food on, was dirty with dried eggyolk peeking out from under my pancakes at me.
The server (who I wish I could name, but can't for lack of name tag or introduction) was quick to remove the plate and replace it.
Fast service, the sauce/gravy/broth whatever it was that was on the steak was weirdly sweet and kinda ruined the whole thing but otherwise really good. Would have the dish again and just ask that they drain the broth stuff
This is my new favorite! Love the coffee shops. And it definitely is. Lots of hustle and bustle. We always get seated quickly, no matter how many people. And I have discovered, wait for it.......the world's best omelet! I know, I know, I've said that before. But this time I really mean it. The Colorado. It's got real shredded beef, cheddar cheese, salsa, sour creme, did I mention that it has shredded beef?
