Cajun fries had the perfect amount of seasoning, but we wished they didn't use peanut oil, so my son with nut allergy could also eat them. While they weren't the best burgers I've had, the price was reasonable for the toppings included.”

So many places are trying to be artisanal and just plain snobby. Urban plates is a nice balance between nice, quality food and casual but nice atmosphere.”

“When my group of guys chose this Afghan place, I thought, "But... There's Thai, Korean, and Chinese food literally right there. Why here?" I was so pleasantly surprised by the food though. It was seriously delicious. Never expected I'd enjoy Afghan, but I guess I never knew what it would be. Don't be afraid to ask about menu items. Service was slightly slow... But the regulars I went with said the staff had some new faces. I recommend the hummus highly, as well as the beef and the lamb. Will return next time I'm in SF!”
