The food was excellent! I took my sister there, we didn't have to wait a long time to order as well as we didn't have to wait a long time for our food, I've waited longer at a fast food place. We have found a place to have lunch when she comes to town.

Great food and service! We shared a bunch of things - fried fish and shrimp, red beans and rice, sweet potatoes, mac and cheese, po boy, shrimp salad. Delicious! All of them! Juicy and perfectly cooked. And for dessert peach cobbler fresh out of the oven, red velvet, and banana pudding. Loved everything and would make the drive from San Jose again!

Holy sh!*. This is the best fried chicken I’ve had in California. The breading is crispy; the meat is fall-off-the-bone tender. The buttermilk waffle was from a brilliant batter, cooked to perfection and buttered just right. The biscuits and gravy are the best I’ve ever had (don’t tell my Grandmamma). The pepper biscuit adds a very mild heat, but packs serious flavor. They have a great selection of beer at the bar—all the standards. Plus, they had some great “fancier” beers on tap. They rimmed my mango wheat beer with a citrus and spice that only improved the experience immensely. Couple that delicious bunch of food with the high quality service & I’m calling this one of the best spots in the east bay. Probably calling myself a new regular too.

Ate breakfast there this morning with my Aunt. She's been before, my first time - and I have to say Pretty pretty good. I ordered the chicken & Waffles. Chicken was moist, good flavor, and huge pieces.

Service was quick with nice servers & informative. Would love to try dinner service and the bar.
