Hidden Spot Emeryville

Burgers are amazing! My only beef 😏 is with the paper napkins on the tables. They are so thin that I soaked about 20 of them mopping up the juices spilling out of the burger all over my hands.

Omg let me tell you about this spot it took me back to my childhood the burgers are so clean tasting and not for the faint of heart lol, I recommend it because of their portions the wife and I split an order of fries the classic and the gem and halfway through we were more than satisfied I will be returning for more 😋

I came here because it was one of the highest rated burger places in my area.
It was kinda hard to find, parking you have to hunt for... But Hometown Heroes has a DAMN good burger. They are particular of ordering food through a QR code app so keep that in mind. Shane the bartender did great drinks and super friendly. Gave me great spots to see and took good care of me. It doesn't look anything special but a cool spot.
The food was hot, prepared as requested and hit the spot! The burger is so juicy it almost ended up being a fork and knife burger but I managed. I got the BM and it made me super happy. I will be back.

I came here with my niece and boy am I glad. I could not find it at first since the outside of the building says hometown heros.

After looking over the menu I ended up ordering the sheriff 15.00. Does n9t come with fries they are separate...but with a yelp check in..had some free small fries and they were absolutely delicious.

The burger comes with cheddar cheese...yummy onion rings...grilled onions..BBQ sauce...and may. I did get extra ranch...mmm

The burger was wonderful. It was juicy and delicious 😋 the fries were perfect. I really enjoyed the seasoning on them.

I would for sure come back.

They have both out door and indoor seating.

Burger taste great, but I ordered a medium rare and it is well done. But if you can make a well done burger taste this good, I have high hopes for when it’s cooked right. I will try again.

Update 3mo later: Tried again and 2 for 2 overcooking the burger! Maybe try ordering rare and hope for medium? But again, they taste incredible. Fries are 5 stars.
