“The place looks really nice, had chandeliers. Also, there were few TVs, they had basketball games going while I was there. I did the buffet style instead of the table service. Buffet style is where you only have to ask for the meats and everything else comes by conveyor belt and is all you can eat. I had an individual hotpot with tom yum soup base. There were other ones, such as Taiwanese spicy, Herbal soup, Japanese miso, etc. The soup base was mildly spicy ( mild in terms of some one who doesn't really eat spicy food a lot). The staff was nice and always came around to see if you wanted more meats. There was a sauce bar. Some seafood were on the conveyor belt (shrimp, squid, imitation crab, fish), some basic mushrooms and vegetables. The dessert on the belt consisted of oranges, orange jello, and palmier cookies.”

“Went there for week day lunch. We’re early so there was no wait. We’re seated and the waiter gave us their paper menu and the e-menu to order. It’s kinda cool because the e-menu has details of the dishes and pictures. Saw couple tables beside us had the huge soup bowl with chilies oil. We thought this must be their popular dish, so we ordered it. Fish soup with noodles on the bottom, black fungus and lot of chilies. We had the fish fillets rather than whole fish as we didn’t want to eat the stomach or fish head. The size is really huge, two of us can’t finished it despite we tried hard to finished the noodles and drank soup. Soup was great, not fishy and flavorful.”

“New HK style Cafe in Fremont. Nice big restaurant. It is currently in soft opening till 2/3 and accept only cash for now, the nice thing is you get a 12% off till then. I really like the food. We got a chicken steak with mushroom sauce and the rice noodle rolls with XO and peanut sauce. I would've taken pics of the food but the family was hungry and dug right in. In the wait area they had a little section set aside for the kids to play which is a nice addition. Service was also pretty good, but as you can see from the photos not many people there.”

“This is my favorite Mexican fast food in the area. Employees are super friendly, their prices aren't bad, and the food is definitely authentic. I'm a San Diego native, so I know good Mexican food when I taste it. $1 dollar tacos every Tuesday with 9 different meats to choose from, and if it's not Tuesday you gotta try the California burrito! Try their orange sauce, they keep it behind the counter, so you have to ask for it, but it's super good!”

This time, I ordered breakfast at 1 in the afternoon, the blender was apparently broken and I couldn't get the frappe I ordered and they didn't give me the milk I ordered with my son's happy meal.... “My kids like to come here when they aren't going to Tapioca Express or when we visit Pho 99 or 99 Ranch Market. Pros: pretty easy to find store, on the corner, free parking, good prices, has a very good menu just like Tapioca Express, foods are very good, drinks also have flavor, not watery, powdery or sugary like some places, portions of food orders is also a plus, prices are good Cons: finding parking can be tricky since 99 Ranch Market is there, especially on the weekends, the store is small and only have 3 tables, and could use a cleaning or updating, wait time for food is a bit long, Egg puff, calamari rings and even the popcorn chicken is great, but don't let it sit in the bag too long or it gets soggy.”
