It's a great place to order your pizza. I ordered mine through grabhub and it took about 45 mins to have it delivered.
That is totally fine with me cause I usually wait 20 mins on a "Hot&Ready" pizza, so I guess this is one of those where they make it as you order it? Not sure...
I've tried a few pizza places here in Hayward... Little Caesars, The Pizza Place, Pizza Hut, NY Pizza, Papa John's, to name a few... but this place exceeded my expectations of pizza in North Cal. I used to believe that South Cal, specially San Diego can only offer the best pizza here in the West Coast, even from the franchise that I've mentioned above. In SoCal, pizzas from those franchise are better from the ones in here.
But since I found Pizza Guys, I believe that you really have to try most of them until you found the place that will satisfy you the most... and for me that's Pizza Guys! ????
I love their Hawaiian Pizza, that's the only one I've tried so far, but I will definitely buy again and try other pizzas.
The dough is nicely made, it doen't get tough easily after it cools. It has a nice crisp and chewy texture. The toppings are great and seems to be freshly made. The sauce is not too thick for my liking... that's what I hate about pizzas, too much sauce and less toppings, but what I got from Pizza Guys is the best! ????
The only drawback on pizzas in North Cal in general... not just at Pizza Guys, is that they are really pricey. Mine costs $19.99 for a medium Hawaiian pizza. In SoCal, I get this at $7~ from Little Caesars, and $11~ Papa Johns.
I really have to say they must lower their prices a bit.
Overall it is a good place for pizza pick up and possibly having a small lunch. Small (only two tables) but quite clean. What I did not like, they did not prepare garlic bread as the promotion required (the promotion was a free garlic bread when you buy two pizzas). They cooked it immediately after I reminded them, so only one star off for that.
This a well organized and clean business with wonderful food fsst service
Staff/atmosphere: Very friendly staff, welcomed us with smiles/greeting and made sure we had what we ordered. It was clean and well-kept. My husband and I are new to the area so it’s great we found a pizza place like this.
The Food: I can speak for the three topping pizza and the garlic cheese bread we had...DELISH!! Sooo good! The pizza wasn’t too thick or too thin. Just the right amount of sauce and it was a great tomato sauce. The toppings were plentiful and evenly distributed. The garlic cheese bread was sooo good too. The cheese has evenly spread on each slice, which was great! I hate when some pieces do not have cheese on them and it wasn’t the case with this garlic cheese bread.
Would definitely recommend this place. It will be our pizza place from now on.
It truly was an artisan pizza!
really good pizza and even better staff, worth checking out.
