Carmen & Family Bar-B-Q

I'd say this is middle of the road BBQ. It isn't bad, but also isn't something to write home about. It is a little on the pricey side, but it seems like most BBQ places are going that way as well. The people that worked there were very nice though and you could definitely do worse. I did not have the issue using a credit card like some of the other reviews mentioned, but maybe I caught them on a good day. Overall I would probably eat there again, but I still might look around for another BBQ place in the area.

Food was on point authentic no frills Bbq.... even got to meet the fabulous Ms. Carmen herself loved the family atmosphere. Will definitely visit again next time im in Hayward.

Super over priced and small portions. I have been coming here for years and used to feel very good about the value received. Sad to not see Carmen there anymore. She always took care of me. The food tastes great and their hot sauce is the bomb. Order the links but bring cash only because they always say their credit card machine doesn't work. Bring $40.

Great BBQ, the hot links are on hit the brisket ain't bad. The mild sauce is great. Prices can be a bit pricey depending what you order but definitely worth it. Keep in mind that it's cash only.
