“I had a much better experience this time. In the past they seem to care less if I was a paying customer, just get your stuff and go. And not to mention at least 8 minutes standing there before anyone acknowledged my presence. This time within 30 seconds I had 2 very friendly employees helping me. When my to-go order was brought out he made sure it was all there and that told me he put coupons for the next visit in the bag and that I should, if not already, sign up for the rewards program. I had no idea and they were even gonna help me get started. My order for probably the first time in 3 years was actually correct and good. Hopefully it stays like this and I'll be back a lot more than 2 times a year.”

They serve pizza by the slice but cook it from scratch instead of just warming up a cold slice that's just been hanging around waiting for someone. Their pizza sauce has a unique, slightly spicey tang that I find myself craving maybe a bit too often :-)”

“Edit 4/19/19: Far too much salt being used, especially in the pho. They've always been heavy on salt, but it's worse for the past few months to the point that we can't eat here anymore. While most Viet restaurants use lots of salt, much of the flavor comes from salt... Especially the vegetarian dishes.Requesting easy on the salt results in bland food, no underlying spices or flavor. We all drink water for hours after eating there, hadn't really tuned into this until recently after not having eaten at Saigon Cafe for several weeks. Lowered rating to 3 stars for using so much salt instead of spices. Delicious Viet food, friendly service. Reasonably priced. Quick take out available. Point system to earn free food is quite generous. Good portions. Free street parking.”

Service has always been speedy and friendly, even with long lunch lines. The only reason I put four stars is the bread. It's usually pretty good, but there are many times we have been there and it's been subpar. Overall, I would recommend giving it a try.”

The food was really good, and even though we got there just before 2:00 p.m. when they close for the afternoon, they got us our food and we had time to enjoy it.
