good wholesome comfort! i always have the breakfasts here. they make good Eggs Benedict
American style diner. Nice food and ambience for a perfect weekend breakfast. A bit on the expensive side but totally worth it for the service they provide. Menu contains different cuisines and varieties to choose, not just restricted to American. Mediterranean crepe, Alfredo, Waffles, Chicken basket are my usual orders.
The hostesses seemed tired and not particularly friendly. The serving staff and runners/bussers were incredibly friendly and nice. We had excellent, quick service which is why I'm giving 3 stars. However, the food was less than appetizing. You get a lot of food for your money. I ordered 2 pancakes and a side of country potatoes for $6.95, and the pancakes were HUGE and fluffy. Additionally, the potatoes were plentiful and looked amazing. Unfortunately, looks can be deceiving and the food did not taste as good as it looked. Both had an unappetizing flavor, like the grill was in need of a deep cleaning. No amount of condiments could cover the flavor. I'm not one to send food back, so I quietly took it home and tried to feed it to my dogs, who also refused to eat it. My husband ate all of his omelette, but was not inspired enough to want to return again. There were lots of families there, happily eating, so our experience could be an outlier.
Thick sliced buttered sourdough toast!! WOW! It was delicious and a terrific idea. Koodo’s to the creative genius! The hash browns and eggs were perfectly cooked. Bacon a little over done but will ask for special care next time. And terrific service with a smile. They seem all about the customer here. Thanks for a great breakfast
Good family friendly diner. Nice staff. Lots of seating. Can be a short wait on occasion. The Eggs Benedict is worth a try. Pancakes are good as are the home fried potatoes and the hash browns. Maple syrup does cost extra.
