Nice decor, kind and fast service, and average food. The chicken pho had very little chicken, and the broth was a bit watery. It was still good, and had a lot of tofu in it. The spring rolls were really good. The grilled pork noodle bowl was also delicious. Very large portions. I was craving a sweet drink, so I got fresh sweet soy milk. It was not very sweet, so I ended up going to mr. green bubble for a taro milk tea.
Good but not great. Fancy decor
The portion size and price are both about 30% too large. Would prefer to have smaller $10 or $12 portion size options.
The broth was also a bit too light / watered down.
Had the vegetable pho with tofu. Ginger lemonade was refreshing! All the vegetables were fresh and the rice noodles were just right.
Some of the best pho I’ve had in the Bay Area. Their broth has all the right spices (if not slightly light for my taste) and they offer a generous portion of basil and mint, a rarity in this area. I’m a full-blown meat eater, but also had the opportunity to try their vegan pho; it was actually really good and made from mushrooms I think.
Great food! Also had happy hour on the weekend. I recommend the garlic noodles with pork belly!
