Rico Rico Taco

The food is ok. Fresh tortillas. But the shrimp was served undercooked. The layout is clumsy. The don't bring you your food, nor do they put it out on a counter. You have to get up when they call and take it from their hands. It's kind of a pain.

I have been searching for a taco place with an al pastor spit ever since visiting Mexico City in 2017. Rico Rico has a spit!!! They also make fresh tortilllas for the tacos and have huarache on the menu. So far I have tried the al pastor taco, the carnitas taco, the fish taco , the al pastor burrito, chips and salsa, and the side of rice and beans. Everything has been delicious so far (even the beans were a cut above). The tacos come with lime, radish, and carrot garnishes which is pretty standard but they also come with a roasted pearl onion and a roasted chili (a serrano I think) which are both welcome additions.

This is definitely the best taco or burrito place in the neighborhood now.

Super excited to see a new taco joint in the neighborhood that isn't Chipotle. I paid about $14 for a burrito and a Lime jarritos which was a little more than I was expecting. The Carnitas burrito was tasty but the salsa really added to it. I'll be back again and try the carne asada and fish tacos next time.

Best Tacos in the area. Very happy we have a new taqueria in the neighborhood. The place looks amazing, the food is fantastic and the people are amazing. Will be coming back.
