Warm and friendly, clean. LOVE that everything is vegan- (no worries about checking whether cheese and sauces are vegan). The homemade pink tortillas are fun, fresh and fluffy. The rice and refried beans were delicious- better than most nonvegan versions elsewhere. Mushroom tacos tasty but could use much less salt. Cauliflower tacos were good and filling. No seating indoors but it is okay to take your food around the corner to Rico Rico Tacos. Some nice outdoor tables though.

Rico Rico Vegano was a much needed addition to this area! There aren't many good options on this side of the lake, so ever since their recent opening, this spot has been my go-to.

Their pitaya/red dragonfruit tacos are delicious, beautiful, and so fun to eat. The best tacos here are the Taco De Hongo (mushroom), Taco De Carne Asada, and Taco De Soyrizo. I really like getting the 3 taco combo with a coconut horchata. You can also get the 3 tacos with rice and beans, soup, or salad.

I tried their kid's quesadilla and grownup quesadilla, too. I really liked the kids one, but I'm basic for quesadillas.

So happy they’re finally open! Was waiting for this once I saw the sign go up a few weeks ago. I love the OG Rico Rico, so came here with somewhat high expectations.

Food - 10/10! Got the Soyrizo burrito with refried beans. Recommend adding hot sauce, but the soyrizo has a little bit of spice to begin with.

Service - excellent! Thanks Ricardo for all of the information. Was told how each part was made for my burrito. Had a nice chat about their grand opening. Felt very welcoming :)

Ambiance - quiet and small restaurant. If the weather were less cold today, I would have sat outside.

Ordering - you can order with a person at the front, or use the self-help kiosk! I used the kiosk since it was so easy.

Parking - I recommend parking for free in the Trader Joes parking lot a street away. Otherwise you can park on Lakeshore, make sure to pay for parking, they are very diligent about giving out tickets (I got ticketed once while I was paying for my spot).

    Will return!

Hooray for Rico Rico Vegano! The taco tortillas are a stunning hot pink- I LOVE them. The vibrant colored food is so fun to eat. Not only is this food stunning to look at but it’s also incredibly delicious. Sometimes vegan restaurants can miss the mark on flavor but Rico Rico Vegano has nailed it. I could eat their cauliflower tacos every day! I met Rico (Ricardo) and he’s super friendly and wants to know what his customers think of the food. Just a great guy and a great restaurant. So happy about this new local spot!!! Bonus points: all their packaging is compostable!
