Ok, whenever I see shrimp on the menu. I have to try them. Having lived in the real southern states of Florida and the like have spoiled me about the simple taste of shrimp and grits. I have always found them to be dressed up shadows of what the dish should really by anywhere outside of the southern. Especially here in the bay area...... Until now... The shrimp and grits here are dressed up. However the shrimp is cooked well and the grits are the creamiest I have had outside of Florida. The tomatoes, onions, green onions are bot really needed for this dish, the don't over power the main stars. All in all, the best shrimp on grits in the bay, and they would actually hold there own in any place in any of the typical southern states shrimp and grits dishes.

Extensive breakfast menu, great coffee, big portions, great service, not crowded. I had a traditional egg breakfast with eggs and ham. It was very good. They have a patio, so it's dog friendly. This is the first time I had breakfast there, I'll be coming back.
