-Throw in extra hot sauce/salsa with take-out orders
-Pico de Gallo needs a bit more kick and cilantro
-Beans need a touch more flavor (are you using epazote?)

First, let's continue to care for our families, friends, and neighbors by staying at home and, when appropriate, ordering meal deliveries from local restaurants.

Dona is a Piedmont Ave treasure! Excellent food, lovely staff, and confirm atmosphere. The servings are huge and prices, considering the fine ingredients, are very reasonable. No rushing, nice vibe.

Sat at the bar for my first visit. Friendly & attentive service, good tequila/mezcal selection and -based cocktail menu. Only ordered a snack (the plátanos), but they were tasty. A welcome addition to the peri-Kaiser/lower Piedmont block, and much better value for the money compared to prior offerings. Only complaint is that they close quite early (21:00), though staff mentioned they were hopeful this may change in the near future.

Nice food, super fast service, good atmosphere. It's a place where you order at a counter and then find your own seating. They brought out our food almost as soon as I sat down. It was pretty tasty and decently sized for $4.25 per taco. I'd come back for the churros when I feel like treating myself!

Finally a proper Mexican restaurant on the ave! Flavorful food all around - homemade tortillas, the beans are perfectly cooked, tasty churros for dessert and they even are able to make a Mexican hot chocolate with oat milk (swoon!)
The cocktails are delicious too.
Plenty of reasons to give this place a try.
