I ordered the Special Combo which consisted of a chicken leg, a lot of rice, plantains, spinach and beans. I must say that the food was super delicious. However, paying $25 PLUS $6 tax was a bit much. When I asked about why there is a tax charge added for cooked food, the answer was that the ordering app automatically adds the tax. How about taking orders another way that doesn't result in a customer paying $31 for a chicken leg.
Decided to try them out at the Oakland roots game. I'm glad I did. Their Jollof was phenomenal and flavorful. The price was a little high, but definitely worth it with how good the food was.
Delicious Nigerian food. I had the #1. Chicken was tasty and tender. Together the chicken, rice, and plantains balanced out the meal perfectly.
SO GOOD! Ordered the #1 and the chicken was so well seasoned, the rice so yummy, and the plantains balanced everything out with the sweetness. Looking forward to finding the food truck again, but happy I found it here at the A’s game! Highly recommend!
Bismillah!
Jollof Kitchen is the best Nigerian food spot in the bay. I love everything that I've tasted. What makes this spot so special is the intention that the chef/owner puts into her food. You can taste the good vibes energy in every bite. Recently I ordered Jollof Kitchen for the Black History Month Program at my school. The students and staff loved the food. I thought I would eat some later after the festivities but by the end of the celebration every morsel had disappeared. Thank you for providing a cultural awareness experience for our youth through food passage ways.
