Square Pie Guys

I'm from Detroit so if I hear Detroit/Chicago style pizza I'm gonna be picky. The Pepperoni pizza is like a mix between Jetz & Buddy's (Local Detroit will know these two places)

Definitely the closest pizza place on the west coast I've had that does the Detroit/Chicago style justice.

The only suggestion that I have is that they need to be open to custom orders, but they're not. For example, I prefer the pepperoni under the cheese.

All in all, I wasn't expecting much but was VERY surprised as to how close they have achieved this special style of pizza.

So happy that this super tasty Detroit-style finally made its way across the bay to Oakland. The topping combos are really well balanced and pretty unique, so it doesn’t matter that they can’t do substitutions (honestly no need!). Definitely our new go-to when we’re craving that crispy, crunchy, cheesy crust 😋🍕

A unique pie, in a sea of round averages... They are not afraid to burn the edges, which I like but, you might not... Some of their combinations are unusual and according to their menu are unchangeable (think Soup N@zi) but, sometimes ya just gotta go with the flow and try something different... Ya never know you just might find something new you didn't know you liked! The pies are all 'thick crust' Sicilian style which you either like/love or ya don't... So know this going in... But, if you need to get your modern Sicilian on, get on down to the Guys With the Square Pies! Yum-a-rooski!

Best pizza in the Bay! Nice folks working there. The pizza was ready when they said it would be. I know this place gets busy, so I went there a little earlier in the afternoon and it was all very tranquil, good vibes. Good, kind people, super delicious pizza, small business = easy for me to support! 10/10 would recommend

Square Pie Guys is great! I would highly recommend. The pizza is spectacular, the crust is fluffy and crunchy at the same time!!

The wings are great too, you can tell they put a lot of effort into their food.

The packaging is pretty cool too!
