Best taqueria in downtown Oakland! Complimentary chips & salsa w/ your order (in my experience). Huge burritos! Plant bowls! Fried plantains! Very affordable. Try the queso-tacos de birria. Google please make this place more searchable and put it on the map and under searches for tacos! ??

I hardly write review these days unless the place is worthy. This place took over Lago with social distancing in place basically like a hole-in-the-wall joint. Food is yummy good prices I wanted to try their quesabirria since that's the latest food craze. Food truck taco are unusually small for a place like this, but the price remain competitive wish it was a little bigger. Now the quesabirria I like a lot, the price for this was on point. The service was top notch, they know more than what's on the menu. Phone order welcome/pickup in person.

Vegetarian burritos are amazing. Lots of crunchy fresh corn. Owner is a sweetheart. Two steps up from your basic burrito. Can't wait to try the bowls.

I'm so glad a place moved in where Lagos used to be and it's still a taqueria! They have a great mix of classic Mexican take out and even offer a vegetarian bowl as well, which I'll have to try on my next visit! The gentleman that took my order was really nice and I love their huge menu outside so you can see everything on it, even from the other side of the street.

I ordered the Carnitas Burrito and this thing is BIG and for a good price too! The pork is nice and juicy and everything inside the burrito goes together so well. I asked for the pico de gallo on the side and also got a nice spicy salsa and salsa verde which add so much flavor to the burrito. I even got a nice surprise with a bag of chips when I got home so my extra salsa got some good dips as well.

I'm so happy there's another Taqueria in the neighborhood again because I was missing my Mexican take out after coming home from work or going around Lake Merritt.
