Lake Chalet | Seafood Bar & Grill

This place was beautiful! Right on Lake Merritt. I ordered light, but everyone's dishes looked really delicious! Came here for a bridal shower. Service was friendly, and the food didn't take that long considering our group size. I want to come back for a date night!

Classy dining right on the water at Lake Merritt. Ample outdoor seating on the dock fills out at happy hour and on weekends.

Service was friendly, but we needed to order from the bar to sit outside. The food was tasty, but expensive, the crispy chicken sammie was $17.

AS a treat, this place was great!

Sat outside on October 18th with a group of coworkers. It was a gorgeous day. I ordered the tacos. They were filled generously with fish and cabbage but lacked in flavor. I rarely add salt to my meals and it was much needed for these tacos. Service was excellent though!

Food great. Service slow but very good. Server had no problem with problems large groups can have.
Valet parking but had to go get my car. Initial valet man was very helpful and kind. The weather was heavy rain. Different guy at end who after a wait came and gave me keys but my group had already headed for the car to get out of the rain.
Want to say again the food was delicious. Kudos to the chef. Real nice experience.

I very much enjoy coming here. It's beautiful and there's always a place to sit. However, every time I come here it's always 4 star. Either the food was not quite perfect, or the server was awkward, or the hostess forgot to seat me and sat several other similar size groups before us.

They never happen on the same trip, but it's always one little thing.

All that being said, I come here often and always enjoy myself.
