“I was so excited to see Saturn Cafe is back in the Bay! We were loyal patrons at their old location in Berkeley ordered from here last week and were thrilled to see it's just as good as it used to be. “I recently tried Izzy’s Kitchen for a night in with a few friends and the food was SO GOOD! I absolutely love the concept and this being a black & female owned establishment was a plus! Izzy’s is bringing healthy options to the Oakland community and I love that! Now on to the food... We ordered the Salmon Burger, Lamb Burger, Cauliflower Wings, and an Impossible Burger! “Tasty and crunchy! I ordered combo katsu and fried spam, and both are delicious. My favorite one is the one with melting cheese in the inside, which included in combo katsu. I also think the sauce really compliments the katsu as it tastes sweet and also a little bit spicy which make it really good. I also feel the portion is really worth the price. “I have to say that the butter chicken I had from Noor was outstanding! The chicken was so tender, it was like it just melted in my mouth. The sauce was rich and buttery with a nice balance of sweetness and savoriness. The spices used in the dish gave it an amazing aroma and added depth to the flavor. “If you love thick pizza, Detroit style pizza from 8MilePi is the way to go! So cheesy and filled with toppings. Smog pizza is my fav. There’s multiple locations so it’s convenient to satisfy my pizza cravings. They also have yummy wings and a packed chopped salad if you want other options. So I’m adding one star to the original two-star review, for good customer service. ————————————— Was really excited to try this place… but man what a disappointment. The rice is rock hard (so definitely was cooked a few days ago), there are exactly *3* pieces of arugula, and 2 pieces of thin cucumber. The the chicken was dry. The only thing that’s generously portioned in my dish was sauce.. sigh.”

“Such a wonderful, authentic, cozy, sushi dinning experience. This place was where the ever-so-popular Judoku Japanese restaurant was. It's is now the place where if you really enjoy, like I do, indulging in fresh, authentic, sashimi, and other well prepared authentic dishes, then you must try this place! Master-Chef, Jun is a wonderful and friendly host. He very much wants you to have the best experience when you dine-in. That's exactly what we got and you will too. We come here when we are visiting from San Jose where we live. We enjoy the food, and mainly we enjoy being taken care of by the staff and they are attentive and friendly. We always like to order the Sashimi Omakase, mainly because it's the better choice when you want to eat fresh cuts of fish, that are so mouth-watering, and delectable, what more do I need to say? We also order very tasty sides, like Chicken Karaage, Tenpura, Agedashi Tofu, and the kids usually order Combo Bento or other items, but if you really like Nigiri Sushi and/or Sashimi this is why you will want to come here. We recently celebrated my mom's 94th birthday and she really enjoyed the sashimi and Jun's hospitality. We very much, highly recommend you come to visit and indulge in a very authentic Japanese eating experience which will surely remind you of, if you've ever lived, or been to a small restaurant in Japan.”
