“wow, just wow... I was taken here by a friend a few weeks ago and was blown away by the food. One thing I love about the SF Bay Area is the AMAZING restaurants that we are blessed with and this one is no exception. We did have to go with a late reservation but it was for sure worth the wait. The service, food, and drinks were delightful. I would highly recommend checking out Jo's and I will definitely be back in the future!!!”

“Sad to see it close But very excited to see that a a new Breakfast Restaurant is opening soon. Ownership will be solely Mr. Vernon Mouton which by itself speaks in volume. I have no doubt that the new restaurant "Bojak kitchen" will be the Best Breakfast joint in Oakland, Ca. I highly recommend any Business with the name "Mouton" as it's proprietors . They have proven over the vast amount of years that they are a reliable and dependable Name that stands behind there services.”

“The best experience about exploring all these weekend food stalls is discovering something new. Hence the gem finding of Las Cazuelas (Mexican food) but not what you think of Mexican food that you expect at from the restaurant. No siree Bob...this Sunday only weekend experience is meant to indulge in your food sense while being dazzle at the amazing variety of food and everything is fresh prepared. None of that prep the night before...for myself, I ordered the meat n potatoes w/red salsa n ground meat gordito. It's made by using a thick version of a tortilla or pupusa in a sense. They grill one side and extra grill the other end, split into the center and stuffed with your choice of ingredients. If you're not stuff enough, be ready for the menudo (pork stew soup w/gripes). A Mexican food staple.”

“So happy that this super tasty Detroit-style finally made its way across the bay to Oakland. The topping combos are really well balanced and pretty unique, so it doesn’t matter that they can’t do substitutions (honestly no need!). Definitely our new go-to when we’re craving that crispy, crunchy, cheesy crust 😋🍕”

“All the reviews are true! Great, quick food, large portions, all at an incredible price. Super friendly owner, always accommodating. Chicken Shish Kebab had great char and seasoning. Homemade Hummus is some of the best I've had—smooth, yet super garlicky and savory—I always order a second batch to enjoy the next day. We've become weekly regulars—you should too!”

“The barista that made my first drink didn't follow the directions for my drink, and was very dismissive. However, when I returned to get my drink remade, it was remade correctly. Then I remembered that the person that remade my drink is the same AMAZING person that made my drink earlier this week. So props to him and that Starbucks crew.”
