Cozy, quaint, bright, modern place.
Unique egg dishes, locally sourced produce and meats, lots to chose from.
We had the french toast with chicken sausage, and baked eggs topped with portobello mushrooms with side of baby potatoes. Yum, yum, yum.
French toast made with crusty bread and baked, topped with whipped cream and syrup...ah soo good!
Worth the above average wait.
The owner (Melanie) is kind, warm, and gentle in her spirit. Their team is worth watching as you eat your food. The portions are just right. I recommend their establishment wholeheartedly. I will bring my family and friends here next time.
A friend found Ellie's on Next Door. The food looks good on the photos. We had the lemon pancake bake. I guess I was expecting it to be more softer have a lemon curd to it. Nope not even the syrup could help the dryness. If you go add the $3 ice cream on the bake. I will try Ellie's again.
Ellie's is a new place and they are trying very hard to offer a varied selection of brunch items and unique beverages, with and without alcohol.
Their menu could use some clarifications (specific ingredients per item) and maybe even some customizations based on available ingredients... Although sometimes less can be more uf you are overwhelmed by too many options...
Will be interested to return and see how they are coming along...
