Hanami, love at first sip. The shoyu and miso ramen were quite delish. This place is clean, organized and polite. Can’t beat these prices. Give this place a try!

I got a regular poke bowl (2 scoops) with spicy tuna and scallops. Everything was very fresh and tasty! It was a good portion of food and reasonably priced. I got half rice, half salad and I was pleasantly surprised that the bowl had minimal rice - they really fill it up with the other toppings and poke.

We’ll definitely be back to try the ramen and udon.

Stopped in for lunch and had a delightful meal. Items were fresh and perfectly cooked. My partner got the Ramen tonkotsu which had deep and well layered broth with roasted garlic tones spilling out of every spoon full. I had a bento box of chicken katsu and California rolls. Service was attentive and friendly. Will definitely be coming back for more.

Always a delight to check out a new restaurant in the neighborhood! Everything was very fresh, pickup was ready in around 15 minutes, and they had the front door open plus all staff were wearing masks for COVID safety. I am super duper picky about takeout these days, but the food here was fresh, tasty, and balanced - I will definitely be back!!

I'll review each of the dishes we tried:

Poke (Salmon and Scallop): I specifically ordered this because old or spent-too-long-in-the-freezer scallops are pretty distinctive. I was pleased to find the fish was very fresh! All the toppings were a delight, and their spicy poke and wasabi ponzu were delicious. They were able to accommodate my ask for the ponzu to be on the side. My *only* complaint (and just barely) was that the rice was very slightly underseasoned, but that being said it tasted fresh, was not dry, and had a perfect texture. I was able to just add a little soy sauce and everything was good to go.

Tonkatsu ramen: We got this because we frequently make Tonkatsu in bone broth at home, and I wanted to compare the taste. This was a delight! The texture of the pork was crispy/chewy on the outside, tender on the inside. The fat of the pork belly had been treated appropriately and was melt-in-your-mouth instead of gristly. I appreciated that the broth was packaged separately. I think the broth was a bone broth and home made, it had a distinct and familiar rich scent.

Takoyaki: I was immediately met with the strong funk of bonito when I opened the box, I really appreciate that they didn't shy away from the flakes. The balls were freshly fried, a perfect crispy exterior with just the right amount of chew inside. The sauces were super flavorful and the whole experience a delight. This place is dangerously close to me and I sense I am going to be popping by for some of these as a random afternoon snack on a regular basis...

We called in the order and ready in about 20 minutes. It was delicious. Highlights are the mixed tempura (very fresh), beef teriyaki, spicy California roll, salmon roll and the hinami special miso broth (garlic and more spices) with the udon. Everything tasted really fresh and seemed like it was made on site. More depth in the salad dressing than you usually get!
