Grand Golden Bay

Quite authentic Cantonese cuisine especially I loved the fried lobster with ginger and spring onions! It was great but not so cheap as it coast $26 per pound. Ordered the salt and pepper crab that I think can be better with the spices add. The fry pigeon isn’t great as the meat is too dry and apparently overly cooked! Geoducks sashimi was really good and make 2 ways cooking with soup and sashimi style. Not cheap and better asked the price before ordering as the waitress tends to push you for expensive items. Casual chinese restaurant and enjoyed the food so much!

Tastes pretty much the same as the Mayflower Restaurant that was in the exact same space, same decor, etc. They might have made a few minor improvements but you'd be hard-pressed to tell.

At least the kids loved the mushroom soup from one of the banquet sets, the lobsters, while ordinary, were more than acceptably done, the white chicken and the walnut prawns both were fat and ample portions. Hard to complain for a neighborhood restaurant at the local strip mall.

Very good dim sum with some special items. Prices are reasonable.

Better service, dim sum taste a bit different, some items like the chicken feet is better while some items like the siu mai a lil worse.
Still a solid place for dim sum.
The improved service attitudes is commendable and we'll be back for that.
