Nice store with a restaurant. Food was good and fresh. Service was great!
Always a great place to stop and have a beer. Great friendly service. Awsome bartenders.
The Cheeseburger I ordered was huge and delicious, juicy, messy, YUMMY.....and the Onion Rings are FANTASTIC
I must start off this review with a flashback memory of what was so I can illustrate how amazed and appreciative I am with what is today. My only experience with this place prior to the remodel and update was deplorable and left more than a little to be desired. Imagine my surprise after the construction completed and we stopped for a quick nosh. Dont let the exterior deceive you. The interior is really rather nice. The Saloon has a long galley style bar front to back, pool tables, dart boards, the usual. Everything that makes for a good time at the local watering hole. Including a beautiful barkeep to quench your thirst. The store now includes an on the spot food venue featuring a good assortment of options to choose from, ( their cheeseburgers are really good, and their fries equally served.) as well as your garden variety convenience store fare. I was sold my first visit and have returned since never being disappointed. This is a total 360° change of pace giving this wonderful historic landmark the much needed face lift and second chance it deserves right in the wake of the neighboring Casino being brought to fruition. With the Buena Vista Rancheria expected to open in April, the store/saloon is on track for success. Definitely worth the visit.
Pleasantly surprised, the food was delicious, the store is nicely laid out. The bar was inviting. Parking was good. Staff know the history of the Buena Vista Store and Saloon and where happy to share it with you.
