    I inadvertently booked a room there online because I was looking for a motel in Pine Cove but my Google machine selected Pine Grove California. The owner was super nice refunded me my cash no problem even though I was passed the cancellation refund date

    Owner run and operated, a great value to stop rest have food & drink before going skiing.
    Lots of locals enjoy the Black Station Inn.
    It also has rooms.

    A group of my friends and I stayed over new years. There are 4 rooms, each with their own bathrooms, and also a bed in each room (with one of the rooms having a bunk-bed). I did not take part in the check-in process, but I'd assume it went smoothly. The place is charming but has a very small kitchen and very basic cookware. If you plan to cook here I recommend bringing your own things. The place is super comfy and easy to spot from the side of the freeway. Great for getaways with family or friends!

    Felt like i was eating thanksgiving dinner with Family. Had both the vegetarian stuffing and the sausage stuffing, both excellent. Not to mention brisket, turkey, and a surprise tri tip cooked to perfection. Not sure i wore loose enough pants or if I'll eat for another 2 days, but im already looking forward to a date night dinner here without the kiddos.
