Let me start off by saying I can’t stand the 530 and I’m not from here. Chico does not even deserve a place this good this area is trash from Redding to orland to yuba city. I’ve had sushi all over. Miami/LA/San Francisco… etc etc. this is by far one of the best places I’ve ever been to and the chef they have here is Amazing. I’ve been 3 times and sit next to him every time. His work is insanely good and he’s very funny and personable. The quality of fish here is crazy good and some even imported from Japan. Go to this spot and I promise you won’t go anywhere else. This place is better then anywhere nearby even in Sacramento. Miriam park roll is fire and many others.

Best sushi in Chico. Ambiance, service, everything top notch. The rolls we had were the Kenny (awesome), the Noelle (really good with a fresh green taste to it), the mafia (super good), the wagyu nigiri, fried brussel sprouts (had a yummy sauce) and the gyoza. NEED A RESERVATION/ONLY OPEN FOR DINNER! You can make reservations on the website.

Walked in at 5pm, sat without a reservation. Within 30 min, place was packed and I saw people waiting.

Started with Hamachi Tacos. Fish was fresh and good but no flavor to really make dish a wow factor.

Bone marrow was amazing. Cole slaw was literally cabbage and mayo.

Nigiri was amazing. I just did a review at another place saying they had best salmon nigiri but this place blew them out of the water. Mouth watering chu toro and o toro, $18 for 2 pc but my goodness, last time I had this quality was in Japan.

Ramen broth was fantastic, rich and flavorful. Ramen noodles however did not stand out. Thin wavy type with hard texture.

Sushi was incredible, staff was friendly and accommodating, and service was quick! My wife and I had the Noelle roll, and I have never had fish this soft. The depth of flavor was incredible, and every bite was a new mix of savory, citrusy, and sweet through the whole roll! The Tuna Tartare and Snow white roll was incredible as well. Miso soup is the best I've had. Very unique dishes with extra care for aesthetic!

The only drawback was the lack of gluten free options on the menu. But, the staff was very accommodating and recommended rolls that could be easily changed to fit our needs without sacrificing flavor.

Highly recommended, and we can't wait to eat here again!

This is my new favorite sushi place. The Noelle roll was amazing. Sweet with crisp apples and lemon with a bird's nest on top made of roasted leeks, it was both very refreshing and unique. Everything was beautiful and detailed. The blue fin tuna was excellent as well. We tried a few more rolls but between my wife and I we were very full after splitting three rolls but we managed to finish all four!

We didn't try any cocktails because it's Wednesday but the green tea was only okay. They need a better tea kettle for the table and more of a selection would be nice, right now green tea is the only option and we didn't see it on the menu.

All and all it was a little under $100 for all 4 rolls and tea with tax and tip. I would say it's worth it. This is the new best sushi place in Chico in my opinion.
