This little hole-in-the-wall is one of the best places you could ever have a meal. Their food is literally to die for. The prime rib is so fresh it's almost like the cow is hiding out back. It's served with a delicious minestrone soup and a nice small fresh salad. This place is always loud and crowded because it's such a great spot. It doubles as a bar if that's what you're looking for. But the meat is delicious. 10 out of 10, would recommend

Went there last night, it was packed! Had to wait a bit for a table, but so worth the wait! They start you off with nice warm bread and soup of the day (minestrone last night), then the house salad, and we asked for more bread... And finally the EXTRA CUT prime rib, oh man was that perfect, juicy and delicious! So big had to take half of it home, along with a whole loaf of bread... that sure was a nice midnight snack lol. Please support local businesses!

Old fashioned Road House feel. Lots of good food for the money... Hardly any wait for me to be seated on a Monday night at 7p.m. Fast service once my order was taken.
Food was okay, warm not hot, minestrone soup always good, salad drowning in dressing. Then again, it's what I expected...a lot of good food for not much money.
Only place I know that beats this place for value is a Basque restaurant Los Banos!

    I've been going to
Mac's for 30 year's and it's always been a wonderful experience, except twice; once several years ago and yesterday. Almost always very busy during the lunch hour, yesterday was a slow day for Mac's still, the waitress must have forgotten us. She finally glanced our way, then brought our plates. Our food was cold and getting dry. I asked for a small plate or bowl to mix my horseradish and sauce. Same type bowl they had the sugar packets in, both had a filthy ring or DIRT in them. I had brought a free for her birthday, her first visit there, I was so disappointed. I did notice that the girls waiting were new and young so I let it go but still. The woman bartending had waited on me in the past and given terrific service so it's nice to know she's still there, I only hope she's still waiting table's as well. I always sit at the table by the window and that's always nice. When their busy you can sit on the porch under a beautiful shade tree and enjoy a drink. Children can play on the grass and are welcome at Mac's too. I'll be returning, I just hope this was a one-time thing and not a change for the days ahead.

Normally this place is on point, however today was a little disappointing. For the first time ever, I had to send my steak back. I had ordered my steak to be cooked medium, but I was given a rare steak. My husband originally thought he had mine, but upon closer examination, he was given a completely rare steak that was so undercooked, my husband couldn't eat it. Mind you, my husband loves his steak rare, but this was beyond under cooked. After I received my steak back from the cook, I looked at it and all the cook did was sear the outside. The inside was still raw. My husband and I are not picky eaters, and normally we like this restaurant. This is the first time we have had a problem.

For $10.95 you can get an entire 9 oz steak, a scoop of veggies and a scoop of pasta. You will also receive a small salad for an appetizer, or large bowl of minestrone soup. The minestrone soup is amazing! We also had a basket of warm bread.

We will absolutely give this place another chance, but we will wait a while and see if a new chef comes on board.
