The Lamb Shank & Gnocchi was great, along with the profiteroles. The apple tart was very bland. For the price it was very good.
Very nice Italian restaurant at a reason price. Great service. Friendly atsmophere. Great food.
Nice atmosphere and good food. Not a very big restaurant, but seating is reasonably comfortable. Could get crowded during dinner time.
If the management could improve a few things, it would make the dining experience more enjoyable for the customers. (1) Having a host near the door to greet & seat customers would make people feel welcomed. (2) A level of sophistication can be added to the food--e.g. the mint on the desserts look way too big and impacts the artistic presentation of the food. (3) Staff is courteous but not friendly, and gets clumsy when taking away the dirty dishes in front of the customers.
Definitely not a 5-star restaurant, but a great place to visit for some good food in the neighborhood. Hopefully it'll get better in the future.
My Partner and I came here for the first time and it was lovely. The staff was pleasant, food was great and the resturant had a home like feeling. I appreciate the limited menu because too many options tends to be hard to look through. I had Primavera with light tomato sauce and my partner had the crab linguine special that was offered for the night. Nice place for dinner/ great authentic pastas. Dessert was no match for the fantastic food but it was pretty.
Always a great meal.. fish is always fresh and their pasta dishes are wonderful. Been a fan of theirs since 9/12/2001 ( who could forget?) and even though we don't live close to them, we still go there when we visit the Bay Area.
